Jazz in June (June 18-20)
One of Norman's most beloved summer traditions returns June 18-20 with three evenings of incredible live music, local vendors, food, and community fun.
This free festival transforms Andrews Park into an outdoor concert venue, bringing together nationally recognized performers and local talent for a weekend of unforgettable performances.

Celebrate at the Norman Juneteenth Festival (June 19)
Each June, the Norman Juneteenth Festival brings the community together to celebrate freedom, culture, and unity through live performances, food, educational opportunities, and family-friendly activities. It's a meaningful and vibrant event that continues to grow each year.
Visitors can enjoy performances from Original Flow and the Wavvez and Branjae, along with food trucks, a bounce house, kids pavilion, domino tournament, bike show, and live art murals.

Geek Out at Soonercon (June 19-21)
Calling all sci-fi fans, gamers, cosplayers, fantasy lovers, and pop culture enthusiasts!
Soonercon returns to Norman this summer with its "Through Salt & Storm" theme, bringing three days of panels, workshops, celebrity guests, artists, vendors, cosplay, and fandom fun to the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center.

Celebrate America's 250th Birthday at FourthFest (July 1-4)
This year, Norman's FourthFest is bigger than ever.
In celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary, the City of Norman has expanded FourthFest into a four-day celebration running July 1-4 with activities happening across the city.
The festivities begin July 1 with the Water Lantern Festival at Legacy Park, followed by an outdoor showing of Captain America: The First Avenger at Reaves Park on July 2.
On July 3, families can participate in the Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby at Reaves Park before the celebration culminates on July 4 with FourthFest at Reaves Park.
This year's event features live performances from Logan Mac, Tyler Halverson, and Cody Canada of Cross Canadian Ragweed, along with food trucks, vendors, bouncy houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, and plenty of family fun activities.
Additional Independence Day events include the Firecracker 5K and the Red, White & Blue Swim at Westwood Family Aquatic Center.
Catch a Movie Under the Stars
Norman Parks & Recreation's Outdoor Movie Nights offer the perfect excuse to spend an evening outside with friends and family.
