The Cherokee Gothic architecture, a term coined by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, of campus budlings is unique to the region and evokes elements of classic gothic aesthetic combined with the visual roots of American Indian tribes of Oklahoma. Some of the more popular sites to see is the Great Reading Room, housed at the Bizzell Memorial Library, the Spoonholder, the Oklahoma Memorial Union, and the executive building, Evans Hall.
