The Jazz & Blues Fest at The Standard brings two nights of live music to Norman, with Friday leaning jazz, Saturday leaning blues, and a whole lot of community in between.

No gates. No wristbands. Just really good music.

When & Where

The Standard – 315 E. Gray St.
Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28

The Standard

Right in the heart of Downtown Norman, The Standard is set inside a historic Coca-Cola bottling plant, with a big, open space that feels just as good for live music as it does for dinner with friends.

The menu leans into Oklahoma-style favorites, and the bar more than keeps up with nearly 50 beers on tap and a solid cocktail lineup. Inside or out on the patio, it’s the kind of place that makes it easy to stay for another set.

The Lineup

Two nights, six sets, and a mix of sounds that make it easy to drop in or make a night of it.

Jazz & Blues Lineup

Friday (Jazz)

  • 4:00 to 5:30 PM – The Ravens

  • 6:00 to 7:30 PM – Jazz Exchange

  • 8:00 to 10:00 PM – Sam Vaughn Quartet

Saturday (Blues)

  • 4:30 to 6:00 PM – Chebon Tiger

  • 6:30 to 8:00 PM – Matthew Scott

  • 8:30 to 10:00 PM – The Ravens

Whether you’re popping in for a set or settling in for the night, there’s no wrong way to do it.

More Than Just the Music

At its core, this weekend is about three things: good food, great music, and a crowd that shows up and settles in.

What really makes this one stand out is the atmosphere. It’s not unusual to see a mix of regulars, first-timers, families, and yes, a few dogs posted up on the patio. It’s easy, it’s welcoming, and it feels like Norman.

You can even catch a few pop-ups throughout the weekend:

  •  Friday: Oil & Clay Studio will be on the patio with a hands-on art activity

  •  Saturday: Oscillator Press will be live screen-printing event poster tees

    • $10 if you bring your own shirt

    • $20 if you grab one on-site

Make a Night of It in Norman

One of the best parts? How easy it is to turn this into a full evening out. You can settle in at The Standard and call it a night, or mix in a few downtown stops along the way. Start with dinner and stay for the music, or bounce around before landing here for a set or two.
