On Saturday, August 8, the Norman Downtowners Association is partnering with Sooner Theatre, their presenting sponsor, Crosstimbers Rotary, and several of Downtown’s tastiest spots to present Taste of Downtown, and trust us, you don’t want to miss it! 

 

What is Taste of Downtown? 

Norman’s Taste of Downtown is exactly what it sounds like - a night full of trying tasty food and drinks from 15 of downtown’s best vendors. 

 

Each attendee of this 21+ event will each receive their own Taste of Downtown passport, which will be stamped at each vendor’s booth. Afterwards, it’s time to cast your vote for Best Bite, Best Sip, and Best in Show!

 

Not only is this a great opportunity to celebrate the city of Norman’s food, drink, and local business community, but it’s also a way to meet your neighbors and connect with the Norman community. 

 

The event will be held at the Studio of Sooner Theatre from 5-8 p.m. and feature live music by two local artists, Kyle Reid and Flash Jordan.

Proceeds from this event will support the Norman Downtowners Association, an independent nonprofit that advocates for and coordinates marketing and networking throughout Norman's historic downtown district.
