We’ve reached the 2025 season, and Norman is gearing up for another special year of Oklahoma Sooner football. Thousands of loyal fans and visitors will flock to campus for the big event, but don’t forget – there are plenty of other great spots to catch the game if you don’t have a ticket.
Just because you’re not on Campus Corner or inside the stadium doesn’t mean you can’t soak up an exciting atmosphere of college football!
Downtown Norman
The Standard - With plenty of TVs and a few large projection screens – not to mention over 40 choices of locally crafted brews and good food to choose from – The Standard is a fantastic place to gather with fans and enjoy the game. Wings, burgers, and tasty cocktails will make your football day memorable. Their atmosphere welcomes everyone, and with a large outdoor patio, you can bring just about... everyone.

The Garage - A famous Hal Smith-Oklahoma burger chain that began right here on Norman’s Main Street. The Garage must have been made with football fans in mind. You can enjoy some of the best burgers and fries you’ve ever had while you take in wall-to-wall TV screens and a large bar, so you don’t miss a second of the action.
Pro Tip: Don’t forget to upgrade your burger patty to delicious bison meat!
Norman Ale Trail - Norman’s local craft brewery scene lines Main Street, spanning four breweries and a restaurant/beer hall. You'll find plenty of smooth brews alongside comfortable spaces and TVs. (405) Brewing Co., Beer is Good Brewing, Legally Brewed, and Lazy Circles Brewing will give everything from robust stouts, sweet sours, and flavorful lagers. Long-time Norman foodie haven Das Boot Camp recently joined the Ale Trail with its German-style home brews to go along with their delicious German/American food menu (and yes, plenty of TVs and a bar to watch the game).

Pro Tip: You can explore the Norman Ale Trail in one afternoon – all the breweries and Das Boot Camp are on Main Street within half a mile of each other!
