Looking for a fun way to spend a Friday night?

Each second Friday of the month, the streets of Downtown Norman come alive with color, creativity, and community during the 2nd Friday Art Walk. This free event stretches from the railroad tracks on Main Street to the EDO District across Porter Avenue. You’ll find local artists and vendors, hand-crafted artwork, live music, and unique shopping opportunities — a Norman favorite for more than a decade.

Organized by the Norman Arts Council, the Art Walk brings together galleries, shops, musicians, and artists to celebrate arts and culture in Norman. Expect surprises around every corner – from live music at local spots to open mic poetry. Past lineups have included karaoke, face painting, and free kids’ ballet classes, making it a night out for all ages.

Make the Most of 2nd Friday Art Walk:

  • Arrive early for parking – those Downtown streets can get busy!

  • Wear comfy shoes – you’ll want to stroll the whole route and see it all.

  • Bring cash or cards – many artists and vendors sell one-of-a-kind pieces we promise you’ll want to take home.

  • Check the lineup – see what live music, performances, and kid-friendly activities are happening so you don’t miss a thing.

  • Support local – pop into the shops, grab a bite or sweet treat, and make a full night of it.
