The extended space – along with a back patio – allows for enough room to work on your studies, jump on a Zoom call, or kick back and enjoy some of their delicious coffee and home-baked goods.

Yellow Dog Coffee Company - What started as a family business on a local farm has since grown into one of Norman’s popular coffee and roasting houses. Yellow Dog Coffee Company’s charm is not just in their great cups of coffee, but in their process. They’re the only roaster in Norman, so your coffee’s beans are made right before you dive into your morning’s first cup.

Beanstalk Coffee and Sno - One of Norman’s staples, Beanstalk Coffee and Sno's multiple locations on Main St., Eastside 12th Ave., and Westside 36th Ave., allow anyone exploring the city a chance to enjoy their tasty drinks and treats. Students at the University of Oklahoma are often found at the downtown location since it’s less than a mile north of campus.

Press & Plow - Press & Plow’s atmosphere will make you want to stay for an extra morning drink after you’ve finished eating. Their Lindsey St. location (there's also a location on Tecumseh Rd.) welcomes students and visitors to OU’s campus with smiles, good coffee, and even better food.

Green Feather Book Company - Don’t have a book you to enjoy at some of these spots? Look no further than Green Feather Book Company. As Norman’s oldest and first independently owned bookstore, Green Feather Book Company has maintained their charm and comforting setting over the years. The store is Indigenous and woman-owned and has a focus on Indigenous authors and subjects. Find everything from local works, the popular books of the year, and the classics.
