The place to be from June 19 to the 21 is in Norman for the city's annual Jazz in June festival. Set at Andrews Park, this free three-day event features a diverse group of performers and other activities to give visitors an incredible outing.

In addition to providing concert goers three days of entertainment, the festival aims to provide a "vibrant cultural scene, bringing the joy of jazz to our community and beyond." The artists showcasing their talents on stage range from local to national artists. Echoing the miles traveled by those artists, past Jazz in Junes have attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the city of Norman from beyond the city's and the state's borders to partake in the weekend's festivities.

This year's festival is highlighted by its Saturday headliner -- the Super Sonic Shorties. This all-female band is led by drummer Nikki Glaspie, who previously worked with Beyoncé, Jay Z, Chaka Kahn and Destiny's Child. Other acts/artists include Chanda Graham, Kat Lock, Dan Pugach, Youngjoo Song, and David Cook. A full artist roster and schedule can be found here.
