Sooner Theatre presents A Spirited Game of Murder
On a dark and stormy night, a group of friends, enemies, lovers and haters arrive at an isolated manor to try their hands at solving a staged mystery before returning to their normal, boring lives the next day. But for one of them, there is no going back after they develop a very real case of being dead. The game they all came to play becomes a madcap murder mystery dinner that the audience now has to solve—but the spirit of the dead will be there to help you along the way (and also to have their comedic revenge on those left living while you try to figure out whodunit). Lives will be changed. Secrets will be revealed. Drinks will be drunk. And a musically spooky good time will be had by all as the Sooner Theatre presents “A Spirited Game of Murder” this February for their annual Musical Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre fundraiser.
All proceeds from the dinner and musical theatre extravaganza benefit the programs and operations of the historic Sooner Theatre, an anchor of Norman’s thriving downtown arts district. Tickets to the event are $75 each or $750 for a table of ten.
The show is written by James Briggs of the Norman Parks and Recreation Department.
Although the event is a fundraiser for all programs of The Sooner Theatre, the evening is for adults only.
The Sooner Theatre of Norman is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
