Narwhal: Revealing an Arctic Legend

Narwhal: Revealing an Arctic Legend will be on exhibit March 28 through June 14. The elusive narwhal has inspired art, legends and cultural practice for centuries. Today, Inuit knowledge coupled with scientific research helps us better understand narwhals and the changing Arctic. This exhibit is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Exhibition Traveling Service in collaboration with the Smithsonian’s National Museums of Natural History. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays.
