You do not have to wait for April and Norman Music Festival to hear live music, there are plenty of options every night in Norman. These seven are mainstays in the music scene.

In the Walker Arts District, there are five within two blocks of each other. Opolis celebrated its 15th anniversary in the fall of 2017 and offers a wide range of acts on its stage. Red Brick Bar and Bluebonnet Bar provide the feel of a familiar neighborhood locale with late-night music and drink specials. More recently, Bison Witches began serving up live music inside the long-standing restaurant and bar.

Campus Corner mainstay The Deli has been hosting live music for more years than the internet has been online; patrons can catch music from 4 p.m. to 1:55 a.m. Is it a Sunday if Mike Hosty is not on The Deli's stage?

Hollywood Corners features an outdoor live music venue including an Open Mike night for aspiring musicians. Once a gas station, the renovated restaurant and music stage reopened on North Porter and Franklin Road in 2015.

Also, Redrock Canyon Grill presents jazz outside on its patio during the warm months of the year on Friday and Saturday nights and Legends Restaurant features a piano player tickling the ivories in the later evening hours.
