Norman attractions offer alternate experiences
As Norman has been sheltering in place, many of our community partners have been offering alternate experiences.
Norman Arts Council is offering printouts of some of Norman's iconic images.
The Sam Noble Museum is presenting a museum at home experience including educational videos, coloring pages, STEM activities and more.
The National Weather Center has a list of educational resources on the National Weather Service page.
Along with an app, the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art is presenting Art Adventures at 10:30 a.m. each Tuesday via social media. The app offers a chance to tour the museum and many other features.
The Cleveland County Family YMCA is offering many workout-at-home options via its website, including its popular Evolved program.
The Norman Farm Market is open as a drive-through experience with this reference to use.
Each Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., Norman Parks and Recreation, Norman Chamber and VisitNorman are presenting the Stay Home, Be Social live music performances. Look for the video link on the Norman Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
