International Women's Day 2018

Happy International Women’s Day (and month)!

Today, March 8th, is a day to celebrate all the “sheroes” of your life: your friend, you sister, your mother, your role models, and - to all you ladies out there - yourself!

But wait, how do you celebrate International Women’s Day and why isn’t there one for men?

To answer the latter, there actually is an International Men’s Day - November 19th - so don’t feel left out of the party!

And, to really explain the significance of today’s holiday, every year, on March 8th, the accomplishments of women - from athletes and artists, to scholars and mothers, and everything else in between - are celebrated by over 100 different countries across the entire world!

In other words, it’s a pretty big deal.

So how can you (guys included!) celebrate this momentous occasion both today and the rest of the month right here in Norman, OK?
