Five frozen treats in Norman

It's warming up fast in Norman, Okla. and we are jonesing for some cold, sweet treats.

You may know Apple Tree Chocolate for the delicious dipped apples and strawberries but did you know shakes are also on the menu? Totally true. The banana pudding [📸: appletreechocolate] has been featured on their Instagram but we hear the salted caramel is quite a hit.

The Sprittle at Classic 50's Drive In is a rite of passage. Sipping an icy Sprite with Skittles is favorite among many Native Normanites (along with a Tamale Pepper) but make sure you also give some love to the Eskimo Frosty no matter the flavor. Part ice cream, part shake equals totally delicious.

Across the street from Classic 50's along with other Norman locations is Eskimo Sno. With dozens of flavors, line up and take the time to decide on a variety. From Tiger's Blood and Orchid Cream Vanilla to Dill Pickle and Spearmint, the flavors are unique and unforgettable.

Recently relocated to Downtown Norman, Rusty's Frozen Custard is another Norman Must Do. Who knew that concrete could taste so good?

And when you need just a little caffeine kick to your cold treat, try one of the many frappés [📸: stellanova] at Stella Nova. Their menu also includes some frozen tea treats, too!

These five are just a few of the fantastic frozen goodness in Norman so let us know your favorite.
