Two days of programming from 10 am to 4 pm, especially for Day Campers!  The all-day format will allow for concepts to be carried over from one activity to the next. 

Thursday will feature activities related to observing nature and identifying what is seen.  Friday will focus on nocturnal animals, and will include two new programs never offered at the NatureCenter before.  Participants will need to bring a lunch.  Friday evening at 8:30 there will be a campfire program for campers and their families, followed by a short walk to listen for and learn about night sounds.  On Saturday, campers will participate in the scheduled programs offered from 9:30 – 3:30 which will be open to the general public as well. 

The cost for the 3 days will be $15.00, which will include all materials used.  Preregistration will begin on Thursday, July 5th, and is absolutely required, as participation will be limited to only 12 children for this introductory session.  The schedule will be intense, and is aimed toward children who are highly motivated to learn about nature.  If that sounds like your boy or girl, reserve a spot quickly before they are gone!
