Art Exhibit – A Portrait in Protesting
Date/Time
Date(s) - 25 Jun 2012
12:00 AM - 12:00 AM
Norman photojournalist Kendall Brown photographed individuals at Occupy Wall Street protests in front of a black sheet in hopes of capturing stories mainstream media were neglecting. The portraits were printed on 4 ft by 6 ft vinyl sheets to help make the exhibit more accessible to the public and to help the presentation of the work match the tone of the subject. Brown’s hope is the show will get the public discussing what it means to protest.
