The Fred Jones Jr. Musuem of Art is one of the nation’s finest university art museums. Featuring a new wing designed by architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen, the museum’s extraordinary collection includes major works by some of the most beloved artists of all time, such as Van Gogh, Degas, Renoir, Monet, Gauguin, Hopper, O’Keeffe, Ansel Adams, Allan Houser, Nicolai Fechin, Leon Gaspard and others.
24 prominent sculptures beautify the University Campus. Among our favorites are The Pastoral Dreamer (north of Jacobson Hall), Lunar Watch (south of Jacobson Hall), May We Have Peace (entrance to Parrington Oval), or the Sphinx, Mustang, and Sacrafice of Isaac outside the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art.
